Born in Mumyoi ware kiln in Sado, he learned sculpture at Tokyo University of the Arts and learned the traditional technique of celadon under the living national treasure [Hajime Kato].
His celadon work, which was strongly influenced by the Southern Song Dynasty Government Kiln in China, has been highly acclaimed worldwide.
An excellent work by the master [Koheiji Miura], who has been recognized as a living national treasure of "Celadon" with brilliant achievements such as the work that won the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition in Japan.
