He studied metal engraving at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts and later mastered glass craft in Italy. Kyohei Fujita, Japan's world-class glass craftsman, established his own unique glass craft in Japan and won honors one after another, such as a member of the Japan Art Academy, a Person of Cultural Merit, and the Order of Culture.
This work is his best and most acclaimed Venetian work. The technique of sublimating it into a very sophisticated masterpiece by expressing delicate shades is truly a miracle.
