Born in 1951 in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, as the third son of the 11th generation Kyusetsu (Jusetsu).
In 1975 he studied abroad in the United States.
1981 Returned to Japan and started production at Miwa kiln
2000 Yamaguchi Prefectural Museum of Art "Kazuhiko Miwa's Tea Room -REI-" Exhibition
2002: Exhibited at Gifu Ceramic Art Museum “100 Years of Contemporary Ceramics”
