Born in 1960. He is the second son of Imaemon the 13th. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Crafts and Industrial Design in 1985. In 1988, he studied under Osamu Suzuki. In 1990, he engaged in the family business of the 13th generation Imaemon. In 2002, he took the name Imaemon the 14th. The 14th generation Imaizumi Imaemon is developing modern-day Nabeshima with works that are based on his family's ``Colored Nabeshima'' technique and developed the ``Sumihajiki'' technique.
The author's signature technique, ``snow flower ink splash'', is used to fully convey the charm of the 14th generation Imaemon family.
